The holy festival of Chaitra Navratri has come is about to end. The 9-day long festival ends with the celebration of Rama Navami on its 9th Day. Rama Navami is considered to be the birth anniversary of Lord Rama. On this day, Lord Narayana was born in Ayodhya to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya. The festival has great importance for Hindus all around the world.
On this day Lord Rama is worshipped with full rituals. As per belief, worshipping Lord Rama on the day of Rama Navami with full devotion brings happiness, prosperity, and peace to the lives of devotees.

As per the Hindu calendar or Panchang, the Navami of Shukla paksha of Chaitra month is celebrated as Ram Navami, and this year the Navami tithi is falling on April 10, 2022. The Navami tithi begins at 01:23 AM on April 10 and lasts at 03:15 AM on April 11.

Puja Vidhi & Samagari
- Wake up early in the morning and take bath.
- Then, prepare a mandap in the auspicious time and worship it by Panchopchar vidhi.
- Then light a Ghee Diya and offer water, panchamrit, rodi, janeu, Chandan, flowers, incense, betel leaf, betel nut, fruit, and sweets.
- After this, recite Hanuman Chalisa then chant “ॐ राम रामाय नमः” for 108 times.
- After this, recite Shri Ram Strota or Sundarkand.
