Before we even start discussing what Varun Dhawan did, we should be aware that in the past Varun has been accused of making other female actors uncomfortable. But this time the internet is divided as, we know the PR plays a huge role behind the models and actors, and most of the stunts we see on TV are something pre-planned, so some people are sure about this being planned. While the other half is using this strategy as an emergency protocol strategy to cover up the internet fiasco. What really happened we’ll probably never know.

American supermodel Gigi Hadid was welcomed as a participant in the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’s opening in Mumbai. At the big show, a number of Hollywood A-listers attended, notably Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Penelope Cruz. After the primary celebration on Saturday, the Ambani household organized an after-party where stars like Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, and Shah Rukh Khan gave stage performances. Varun brought Gigi to the platform following his presentation, picked her up in his arms, and kissed her on the face.

The Tweet and Varun’s Reply

This moment’s footage rapidly became widely shared on social media. Varun received criticism from certain online users for kissing Gigi against her will. When Varun saw the tweet, he reacted, commenting, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather than going out and doing something about things. Good morning.”

As much as we enjoyed the whole event, especially the part where SRK lit the stage up and Varun did this little twirl with Gigi, let’s just how this was actually pre-planned, as none of us really want anyone to feel uncomfortable on international platforms or anywhere regardless.
