His stars rose once again in the 80s and 90s and his songs won him a string of Grammy awards. He won a total of 19 Grammys and a lifetime achievement. “The Art of Excellence” was his comeback album in 1986 and he once again returned to his Hometown New York from Las Vegas. He was the major contributor to the Great American Songbook, releasing more than 70 albums in total. He followed it with a chartbuster Perfectly Frank, a tribute to his musical hero Frank Sinatra.
