Shillong Teer is one of the many Teer events which are held in the capital of Meghalaya. The event is held in Shillong which is often referred as the Scotland of the North East. The Teer event is an archery event which is held daily in the evening on all days except Sunday. The Teer event is linked to a Teer lottery and the lottery is available for sale from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. in the evening from more than 5000 lottery kiosks spread across the state. The tickets can also be brought online from the official website of Shillong Lotteries. The tickets are available for different denominations from INR 1 to INR 100. Every lottery tickets have a two digit number and if it coincides with the number of arrows which hits the bulls’ eye in the Teer event, you are the winner.
