Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterates call for ‘third term for BJP-led NDA’ at BJP National Convention in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS) – During the BJP national convention in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his call for a ‘third term for the BJP-led NDA’ at the Centre. He mentioned that foreign nations have started inviting him for visits in July, August, and September, indicating their belief in his government returning to power for a record third term. The Parliamentary elections are due in April-May 2024, and a new government and the 18th Lok Sabha will have to be in place by May 2024.

PM Modi spoke about India’s growing and strengthening ties with the Gulf nations, attributing it to his charisma and personal rapport with global leaders. He also addressed the BJP leaders, taking a dig at the Congress over its repeated questioning of the Centre’s tough decisions and nationalist stance.

Additionally, PM Modi urged party leaders to work towards realizing the dream of 370+ seats in the upcoming elections and taunted the Opposition over losing steam ahead of the high-voltage poll battle in 2024.

The Prime Minister also noted that some Opposition leaders have started echoing BJP’s poll slogan, ‘Abki baar, 400 paar.’

Overall, PM Modi’s speech at the BJP national convention highlighted the party’s goals and vision for the upcoming elections, as well as his government’s achievements in strengthening foreign relations and national security.
