Huma’s Letter to Her 16-Year-Old Self for International Women’s Day

Actress Huma Qureshi, known for her latest series ‘Maharani 3’, has written a heartfelt letter to her 16-year-old self just before International Women’s Day. In the letter, she recalls her journey and the struggles she faced while pursuing her dreams of being an actress.

In the letter, Huma thanked her younger self for being headstrong and determined, despite facing doubts and criticisms from others. She shared how her unwavering belief in herself led her to where she is today, despite the challenges she faced in a new city like Mumbai.

The actress reflected on the tough early days in a new city, where she cried alone and faced rejection. However, she emphasized the importance of continuing to work hard and chase her dreams, regardless of the obstacles thrown her way.

Huma highlighted the importance of staying true to oneself and not conforming to societal expectations. She mentioned how her characters in various projects like ‘Maharani’ and ‘Double XL’ are a reflection of strong, unfiltered women, just like herself and the millions of women who look up to her.

In her Instagram post, Huma also shared childhood pictures, reminiscing about the late 1980s and early 1990s. She concluded by encouraging women to lift each other up and embrace their own power, reminding them that they are enough and capable of rising above any challenges.
