Legends League Cricket Season 3 set to kick off in India and Qatar

The Legends League Cricket (LLC) organisers have announced that the upcoming tournament season will be played in India and Qatar from September 11 to October 5. The league saw a viewership of 180 million in India for the previous season and will feature 34 matches this season.

The last season in India saw retired international players like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, Gautam Gambhir, Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, and Ross Taylor participating in the league, along with 110 other legend cricketers. Manipal Tigers, led by Harbhajan Singh, emerged as the champions in 2023.

According to sources, the team retention policy and new Player Draft Pool will be announced soon. Ravi Shastri, Commissioner of LLC, expressed excitement about the upcoming season, stating that more matches and more legends joining the game will make it a thrilling experience for fans.

Shastri also mentioned the league’s growth, expanding from 4 teams to 6 last year, making it more competitive and fun. The CEO of LLC, Raman Raheja, emphasized their commitment to setting global benchmarks in the Legends space and making the next season even bigger and better.

With the upcoming season set to take place in India and Qatar, cricket fans can expect more matches, more players, and a highly competitive league that aims to provide an unforgettable experience for both the fans and the cricketing fraternity.
