Elections for RCA scheduled for April 8 in Jaipur

Jaipur, March 15 (IANS) The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) is gearing up for new leadership as Dhananjay Singh, son of Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, is poised to become the full-time President. The elections are scheduled for April 8 in Jaipur to elect a new President following Vaibhav Gehlot’s resignation last month.

Dhananjay Singh assumed the role of Acting President on March 9, during the same meeting where Vaibhav Gehlot’s resignation was accepted. With the stage set for the upcoming elections, the spotlight is on the transition of leadership within the RCA.

The decision to appoint Dhananjay Singh as the Acting President and now the potential full-time President signals a shift in leadership within the RCA. The upcoming elections on April 8 will determine the new head of the association in Jaipur, amid changes in key leadership positions.
