Kriti Sanon clarifies that ‘Crew’ does not focus on any ‘controversy’ or ‘criticizing men’

Mumbai, March 16 (IANS) Kriti Sanon shared insights on her upcoming film ‘Crew’, stating it’s a female buddy comedy not focused on ‘mudda’ or ‘men bashing’, but showcasing women excelling in comedy. The trailer unveils a thrilling journey of three air hostesses attempting a heist.

During the trailer launch, Kriti expressed her excitement about working with talented women like Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan, highlighting the chemistry between the characters. She emphasized the refreshing experience of collaborating with women who bring unique elements to the film.

Kriti highlighted the misconception around women-centric films being serious or issue-based, clarifying that ‘Crew’ breaks that stereotype by showcasing women excelling in comedy. With special appearances by Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma, the film promises a refreshing take on female camaraderie.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, ‘Crew’ is set to hit theaters on March 29. The film, backed by Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, aims to entertain audiences with its lighthearted and humorous narrative.
