Seoul, March 24 (IANS) – Blackpink, the popular K-pop all-girls superband, has made history with their track ‘How You Like That’ becoming the first performance video to surpass 1.6 billion views on YouTube. The achievement comes almost four years after its release on July 6, 2020, marking a significant milestone in K-pop dance video history.

According to their agency YG Entertainment, the dance video for ‘How You Like That’ has crossed the 1.6 billion views mark on YouTube, solidifying Blackpink’s position as a global sensation. This record is a testament to the group’s immense popularity and dedicated fan base.

This milestone adds to Blackpink’s already impressive list of accomplishments on YouTube, with a total of four videos now having over 1.6 billion views each. Their other music videos such as ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (2.1 billion views), ‘Kill This Love’ (1.9 billion views), and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ (1.6 billion views) have also achieved massive success on the platform.
