Aditi Rao Hydari misses ‘Heeramandi’ event as a newlywed

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who recently got married to actor Siddharth, missed a special event for the upcoming series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ at Mahalakshmi Race Course. The event featured a drone show to announce the release date, with the leading ladies present.

The makers of ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ organized a special event at Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai, where the leading ladies of the series Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh were present. Aditi’s absence was noted by the emcee due to her wedding.

The actresses donned traditional Indian attire to match the theme of the series, showcasing the aesthetic and cultural elements of the show. ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ is Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series debut, known for his attention to detail in production, costumes, and music.

The first song from the series’ original soundtrack, ‘Sakal Ban’, composed by Bhansali with lyrics by Amir Khusro and sung by Raja Hasan, was released on March 8, 2024. The series delves into the lives of mistresses in Lahore’s Heera Mandi during the Indian independence movement against the British Raj.
