SAI Shakti, SAI Bal, and Pritam Siwach Academy Secure Victories on Day 1 of Sub-Junior Women’s Hockey League
Lucknow, March 28 (IANS) The opening day of the 2nd Khelo India Sub-Junior Women’s Hockey League – Finals witnessed SAI Shakti Team, HAR Hockey Academy, SAI Bal Team, and Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy emerging victorious in their respective matches at the Padma Shri Mohammad Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium.
In the first match, SAI Shakti Team dominated Khelo India State Excellence Centre, Bilaspur with a 10-2 victory. Purnima Yadav stood out with five goals, while players like Captain Tanuja Toppo and Bhavya also contributed to the win. Madhu Sidar and Yashoda Meravi scored for Khelo India State Excellence Centre, Bilaspur.
HAR Hockey Academy cruised to a comfortable 14-1 win against Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta in the second match. Neeshu shone with four goals, supported by Pooja Malik’s hat-trick and other players adding to the scoreline.
SAI Bal Team had a comprehensive 8-0 win over Jai Bharat Hockey Academy in the third match. Laltlanchhungi and Lalpeksangi scored two goals each, while other players like Mutum Priya Devi contributed to the team’s victory.
In the fourth match, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy secured an impressive 18-0 win against Raja Karan Hockey Academy. Ravina and Vanshika were among the top scorers, with several players adding to the convincing victory for Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy.
