Parineeti clarifies: Loose clothes are not a sign of pregnancy, dismisses baby rumours

Mumbai, March 28 (IANS) Actress Parineeti Chopra has put an end to speculations about her pregnancy, following rumors that emerged after her recent wedding to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. The actress debunked the rumors during the trailer launch of her upcoming streaming movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’.

The rumors of Parineeti’s pregnancy started circulating after she was seen wearing loose-fitting clothes on multiple occasions. However, during the trailer launch event at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, the actress wore another loose outfit, prompting further speculation.

Addressing the rumors, Parineeti took to her Instagram Stories, stating, “Kaftan dress = pregnancy, Oversized shirt = pregnancy, Comfy Indian kurta = pregnancy.” The actress made it clear that she is not expecting, urging fans not to believe any false reports.

During the trailer launch, Parineeti also shared a humorous incident from the pre-production stage of the film. Recalling a Zoom call with director Imtiaz Ali, music composer A.R. Rahman, and actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, she mentioned feeling nervous when asked to sing. Despite her initial apprehension, her singing was well-received, leading her to lend her voice to songs in the movie.
