Pakistan to tour Ireland for the first time in T20I series since 2018 in May

The Pakistan men’s cricket team will tour Ireland for a T20I series, marking the first visit since 2018. The three-match series will take place at Castle Avenue in Dublin from May 10 to 14. This series will be the first multi-match bilateral T20I encounter between Pakistan and Ireland.

Pakistan last visited Ireland for Ireland’s inaugural Test match in 2018, and this will be the first time the two teams meet in a bilateral series. The upcoming tour follows a previously scheduled two-match T20I series in July 2020, which was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Before heading to Ireland, the Men in Green will face New Zealand in a five-match T20I series starting on April 18. Following the conclusion of the Ireland tour, Pakistan will take on England in four T20Is between May 22-28. The series against Ireland will be an important preparation for the team ahead of their matches against New Zealand and England.

The schedule for the Pakistan Tour of Ireland is as follows: May 10 – First T20I in Dublin, May 12 – Second T20I in Dublin, and May 14 – Third T20I in Dublin. This series will provide an opportunity for both teams to showcase their skills in the shortest format of the game. Fans can expect an exciting and competitive series between Pakistan and Ireland at Castle Avenue in Dublin.
