Top police officer in Arunachal Pradesh recommends utilizing the services of ‘Gaon Burahs’ in elections

A top Arunachal Pradesh police officer, Inspector General of Police Take Ringu, has suggested utilising the services and support of ‘Gaon Burahs’ (village heads) to ensure smooth Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state. ‘Gaon Burahs’ are crucial village level functionaries responsible for development and law enforcement.
