Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth File for Divorce After Two Years of Separation

Actor-filmmaker Dhanush and director Aishwarya Rajinikanth have filed for divorce at a Chennai family court under Section 13B of The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

In January 2022, Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their decision to part ways after 18 years of togetherness. Dhanush took to social media to share the news and stated, “Today we stand at a place where our paths separate.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, are parents to two sons – Yatra and Linga. Aishwarya recently directed the film ‘Lal Salaam’ with her father Rajinikanth in an extended cameo, while Dhanush’s latest release is ‘Captain Miller’.

The divorce petition was filed by Dhanush and Aishwarya at a Chennai family court, marking the end of their journey as a couple. The decision to part ways was mutual, as stated by the actor-filmmaker in his social media announcement.
