NSE warns against falling for deepfake videos of its MD & CEO

New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has issued a warning to investors regarding fake videos or deepfakes of Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD and CEO of NSE, giving stock recommendations. The videos are created using artificial intelligence to mimic his voice and facial expressions.

The NSE advised investors not to believe in such fake audio and videos or follow any investment advice from them. The exchange’s employees are not authorized to recommend stocks. The NSE has requested social media platforms to remove these videos.
