BharatPe’s Ashneer Grover to introduce ‘ZeroPe’ app for medical loans

New Delhi, April 12 (IANS) BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover is set to launch ‘ZeroPe,’ a new app offering medical loans. The app, currently in testing phase, promises instant pre-approved loans up to Rs 5 lakh for healthcare expenses in partnership with NBFC Mukut Finvest. Users can only use services at partnered hospitals.

ZeroPe, developed by Third Unicorn after Grover’s exit from BharatPe, aims to simplify the loan process. Applicants need to download the app, complete a quick application, and receive instant loan approval. The approved loan amount is directly paid to the chosen hospital by ZeroPe, as stated on the app’s website.

With Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, and entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri, Third Unicorn launched in January 2023. The company initially introduced CrickPe to rival fantasy sports giants like Dream11 and MPL. ZeroPe’s focus on providing medical loans highlights Grover’s commitment to delivering innovative financial solutions through technology.

The launch of ZeroPe represents Grover’s dedication to revolutionizing the financial sector by providing accessible solutions for healthcare expenses. The app’s partnership with NBFC Mukut Finvest ensures instant loan approvals up to Rs 5 lakh, demonstrating a step towards democratizing financial services for all.
