SRH Seal 25-Run Win Against RCB with Cummins’ Three-Fer Despite Karthik’s 83 in IPL 2024

In a high-scoring thriller, Dinesh Karthik’s blazing 83 off 35 balls was not enough as Sunrisers Hyderabad emerged victorious over Royal Challengers Bangalore by 25 runs in the IPL match, totaling 549 runs. SRH’s Impact Substitute Mayank Markande made a strong start by dismissing RCB captain Virat Kohli early in the chase.

The match began with SRH opting for spinner Abhishek Sharma in the first over, where Kohli was dropped on just 1 run. Kohli and du Plessis set an aggressive tone, but RCB started losing wickets quickly after Kohli’s dismissal. Karthik and Lomror tried to stabilize, but the partnership was not enough in the end.

As the chase intensified, RCB crumbled under pressure, losing wickets rapidly towards the end despite Karthik’s valiant effort. With RCB needing 44 off the last over, it was too big a task as SRH emerged victorious in the highest-scoring T20 match with a total of 549 runs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad finished with 287/3, with Travis Head scoring a century, while Royal Challengers Bangalore managed 262/7, with Karthik leading the charge with 83 runs. Pat Cummins and Mayank Markande were the standout bowlers for SRH. The match showcased an exciting display of batting prowess and tight bowling spells, making it a memorable contest in the IPL season.
