The Roshan Gharana Program is a new scheme launched by the government of Punjab. It is aimed at helping households across Punjab access solar energy, reported Daily Pakistan.

It is a pilot project to Kickstart in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, rolled it out.

The Roshan Gharana Program is an amazing opportunity to benefit from renewable energy by joining the Roshan Gharana community. By using renewable energy, it also promotes self-sufficiency.

Interested individuals can register for this program by following certain easy steps. 

Roshan Gharana Program: How To Apply

Step 1: To register for the Roshan Gharana Solar Scheme, visit the nearest branch of the Bank of Punjab. Bank of Punjab’s branches are currently offering a full registration process for the scheme. 

Step 2: Ask for the Roshan Gharana Solar Scheme application form in the bank. When you get the form, fill in the form correctly with no errors. Mention all the required information asked. 

Step 3: After filling in the form, submit it to a bank representative for further processing. 

Step 4: The application will be reviewed per the government’s eligibility criteria for the Roshan Gharana Program. Within a few days, the status of the application will be received in a text message in the number provided. 

Step 5: If the application gets approved, a well-guided installation of solar panels will be done at your residence. 

Required Documents for Scheme

According to Ehsaas News, for successfully register in the Roshan Gharana Program, some important documents must be in handy. Here is a list. 

1. Proof of Residence in the form of a rental agreement or ownership certificate.

2. Proof of Pakistani citizenship (CNIC).

3. Income certificates for all members of the family.

4. Bank statements (optional).

5. Family member count certificate.

6. Loan clearance certificate (if applicable).

This solar scheme, the Roshan Gharana program is a commendable initiative by the government of Punjab in Pakistan. Reducing electricity bills helps in empowering low-income households.

Augusta Mall Shooting: A shooting incident at the food court of Augusta Mall in Georgia is currently the talk of the town. According to recent reports by the police, the entire mall was closed down after investigators arrived on the scene, as reported by the Augusta Chronicle.

As police got information about the shooting, three Central EMS SUVs, two ambulances, and nearly a dozen patrol cars reached the scene. 

Multiple witnesses who were present in the mall at the time of the shooting took to social media platforms and reported the Augusta Mall shooting. 

People’s Reactions On the Shooting Spot 

An employee at Dillard’s mentioned that when she heard gunshots inside the store, she hid behind the counter. Several other employees said that they took refuge in a bathroom.

One witness posted on Facebook that read,

“There has been a shooting at the Augusta Mall. Check on your people. They are closing for the day according to the live videos and posts I’ve seen! Y’all be careful out there please!!”

Another person extended caution to the public by saying,

“Supposedly, Augusta mall just had a shooting, so stay away from that area.”

“AVOID the Augusta Mall!! I and mom had to evacuate the employee exit of American Eagle due to a shooting in the food court,”

wrote another witness who was at the mall with his/her mother. 

Until now, information about the shooting situation, whether it was an active one or not, remains unclear. Thus, additional information, and reports from the police and investigators are still awaited. 

Initially, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office released a statement that read,

“The investigation is in its early stages and there is no additional information available at this time.”

Update On Augusta Mall Shooting

According to Times Now, as the investigation progressed, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a person had been shot. This incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.

Richmond County deputies arrived at the scene around 1:40 p.m. Upon their arrival, they were informed that the victim had left and the suspect had also fled the scene.

Deputies later learned that the victim had driven themselves to a local hospital for treatment.

The mall remained closed on Sunday. However, it was expected to resume normal business operations from Monday.

Florida Nightclub Mass Shooting- A mass shooting took place in a nightclub in Florida which has dominated the media headlines. In the incident, a teenage gunman opened fire and wounded 10 people, reported NBC.

The Shooting took place on early Sunday following a fight that broke out at a private event Florida. 

This occurred during a crowded late-night event at Cabana Live in Sanford. As per the venue’s website, it is a restaurant that hosts events like pool parties and rents cabanas. 

As per the statement released by the sheriff’s office, none of the victims got any serious injuries. All 10 people were shifted to a local hospital and were provided treatment. 

They primarily got gunshot wounds below their waists.

Florida Nightclub Mass Shooting Suspect Arrested 

In the wake of this incident, a 16-year-old has been arrested. He has been taken to a juvenile detention center. 

According to Times Now, the suspect was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, using a firearm during a felony, firing a weapon in a public place, and attempted homicide. 

According to the witnesses, the shooting started following a fistfight that escalated. The arrest report said that a guy drew a handgun out of nowhere and began firing on a pile of people. 

When sheriff’s deputies reached the scene, a security guard, a security guard handled the shooter and disarmed him. While another handcuffed him. 

The two security guards recovered a 9mm handgun. They also “spent shell casings that matched the bullets in the gun’s magazine.”

A post was posted for Cabana Live on the Facebook page. It said that when this shooting occurred, they were holding a private event. However, all the employees involved were safe.
