BJP appoints Prem Shukla and Shazia Ilmi as national spokespersons

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday appointed Prem Shukla and Shazia Ilmi as the national spokespersons of the party. Both the members have been seen in the media defending the BJP’s stand and keeping the party’s stand firmly on various issues. At present, the party has 25 national spokespersons, including the head of the media department and chief spokesperson Anil Baluni.

According to the press release issued by BJP’s national general secretary Arun Singh, JP Nadda has named Prem Shukla, Shazia.
Ilmi’s national spokesperson has been approved. After being appointed as the national spokesperson, Shazia Ilmi, expressing gratitude to the central leadership, tweeted that I am extremely grateful to you for giving me the responsibility of becoming the official spokesperson. Thank you!
