Center will have to apply oxygen if tax is stopped from Maharashtra: Shiv Sena

Congress government has fallen in Puducherry, after the resignation of 5 Congress MLAs, the government could not prove majority. There were many allegations against the BJP about this. But now the Maharashtra government is also beginning to worry. Shiv Sena has accused BJP that after Puducherry, now the target of BJP in Maharashtra. It has been said that the BJP is trying to topple the government of Maharashtra by March-April. The Shiv Sena has made all these allegations in its mouthpiece Saamana.

The editorial of Saamana has started with a taunt on BJP. In which it is written – “Whatever you sow, you will reap! Maharashtra from Puducherry”, further written in the editorial,

Puducherry (Our Pondicherry) is a Union Territory and a small state. There are a total of 33 legislators including 30 elected MLAs and 3 nominated MLAs. But this small state has been pulled from the Congress by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress government of Puducherry has fallen. Sami’s government was reduced to a minority due to five MLAs supporting Chief Minister Narayan Sami’s government jumping like frogs.

Maharashtra’s turn after Puducherry

Five MLAs supported the Congress government for four and a half years. There were MLAs from Anandamukh in it too, but now all these MLAs have become whirlpools of lotus flowers. The assembly elections are about four months. Till then BJP or Central Government could have stopped. But by showing the government there, the BJP has become free to fill such an arrogance.

The government of Puducherry fell and showed it, now in March-April, we will start ‘Operation Lotus’ in Maharashtra, some BJP leaders have said so. Even after the government of Madhya Pradesh fell, ‘Next War on Maharashtra’ was announced.

‘BJP uses governors’

It has been further stated in the encounter that, now the talk of Puducherry has started but just like ‘Delhi is far away’, just like ‘Maharashtra is very far!’ There was Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Puducherry. There is Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, so do not get into any unnecessary upsurge. All the experiments that were done to demolish the government in Puducherry have been done in Maharashtra. Nayab Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi, did not allow the Sami government to function properly. Due to this state being a union, the governor of the state has very little authority. So Kiran Bedi started changing every decision taken by the Chief Minister in public interest. However, without the order of Delhi, the Nayab Governor would not behave like this. This editorial further reads,

Whether the Governor of Maharashtra or Puducherry, he has to do the lifting of the order considering the order of Delhi. The governor is used like the curry leaves of a food plate. Kiran Bedi has also been thrown using kadhi leaves, the ‘Bhajipalas’ who have been spraying in Maharashtra should understand this. To use the central power to topple the state government of the opponents, some people may find it an act of valor, so this is their misunderstanding.

‘CBI behind Soren in Jharkhand’

He further writes that, “Once upon a time the Congress dominated the South. Today even a small state like Puducherry is no longer in their hands. The Congress government is now left in the country, Punjab, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Aghadi in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Congress is included in the government. Jharkhand is also being destabilized. For this, the Central Investigation Agency has been installed behind Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This environment is a killer for democracy. “

Finally, on the attempts to attack Maharashtra, Shiv Sena has warned that “Those who are dreaming of ‘Puducherry did, now Maharashtra’ should keep dreaming. This is the decision of Maharashtra. It will not change. Maharashtra The mind is serious and the intentions are firm. The game of Madhya Pradesh and Puducherry will not be able to run in the soil of Maharashtra. After all, there is an important mantra of politics that applies to everyone. Okay!”

The Delhi Police Special Cell filed an FIR on Sunday after receiving a written complaint from Home Minister Amit Shah stating that a doctored article featuring him regarding the reservation issue is being circulated on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

The Delhi police have registered the FIR under sections 153, 153A, 465, 469, 171G, and 66C of the IT Act, and arrests are expected to take place nationwide.

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated in a written complaint that it has discovered doctored videos circulated by Facebook and Twitter users. The complaint also mentioned that a report containing details of links and social media handles, which are the sources of these videos, was attached. The case is being investigated by the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) of the Delhi Police Special Cell.

Amit Shah, during a public meeting on April 23 at the Vijaya Sankalp Sabha in Telangana, stated that the BJP will repeal the unconstitutional Muslim reservation when it comes to power in Telangana.

Home Minister Amit Shah said,

“I want to say this: if the BJP forms a government, then this unconstitutional Muslim reservation will be abolished. These rights belong to SC, ST, and OBC, and they will be given to them by abolishing Muslim reservation.”

The BJP alleged that the video was altered to show Shah promising to scrap reservations for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The BJP stated that the original video showed Amit Shah discussing the removal of the four percent “unconstitutional” reservation for Muslims in Telangana.

The BJP’s complaint said,

“Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ji did not deliver any word against the reservation for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and tampering of the original speech was done by the social media activists of the Congress party for their political gains and to cause immeasurable damage to the BJP in the forthcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh and throughout India.”

BJP spokesperson Amit Malviya alleged that the Congress is spreading the doctored video, which has the potential to cause widespread violence in the country. Mr. Shah had talked about whether the unconstitutional reservation on the basis of religion would reduce the share of the SCs/STs and OBCs.

Uttarakhand's Uniform Civil Code Bill Decoded

When the framers of the Constitution were drafting it, they left the subject of the Uniform Civil Code or UCC as an aspirational dream that could be fulfilled at a later and more opportune time.

Uttarakhand could become the first state where the Uniform Civil Code will come into force. In 2022, the Uttarakhand State Government started the process and entrusted the job of preparing a draft for the UCC to a team led by retired Supreme Court judge Ranjana Prakash Desai.

The Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government will place the draft of the Uniform Civil Code Uttarakhand 2024 Bill (UCC) before the state legislative assembly. The bill will be tabled in the forthcoming four-day special assembly session that began on Monday.

The State Cabinet of the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government had already Okayed the final draft of the UCC, and it envisages uniform civil laws for all the communities who reside in the state. If the Bill clears the legislative assembly, it will be sent to the Governor for approval. After the Governor approves the bill, it will then become law. The UCC was a big sticking point in the elections, and the BJP had promised to make it a law in the state.

What is the Uniform Civil Code?

The Uniform Civil Code or the UCC is a set of laws that will govern personal matters like marriage, divorce, adoption, inheritance, and succession for all the citizens of the state irrespective of their religious beliefs. Today different laws govern these personal matters for different communities of different religions. The UCC will replace all such diverse laws, and there will be only one uniform civil law.
