Cornell University is established in 1865. It’s a statutory Ivy League research university located in Ithaca, New York. The first programme of the University was on hotel administration and industrial and labour relations.

The university also offered the world’s first degree in journalism and the first doctorates in electrical and industrial engineering were awarded by Cornell University.

The main campus is around 2300 acres and includes 608 buildings. Cornell University has eight undergraduate units and four graduate & professional units. It also has the nation’s top-ranked medical and graduate school, Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) along with a Tech campus located in New York City.
