According to Australian High Commissioner Barry O’Farrell, Gautam Adani‘s company is running normally in Australia and he remains an important investor there. However, O’Farrell did not completely rule out the possibility of the businessman meeting with Anthony Albanese, the Australian Prime Minister, because he travels to India later this last week.

The assets, whether they be coal or clean energy, are provided by Mr. Adani’s projects in Australia. Adani Group, which runs coal power stations, a port facility, and solar energy facilities in Australia, hasn’t been the subject of any reports that they’ve seen there.

The Adani Group’s response to the Hindenburg report, according to the high commissioner, is a matter for Indian regulatory authorities to investigate. There have also been no findings of the Adani Group discontinuing processes in Australia.

He has prosperous enterprises in Australia, according to O’Farrell. People choose to invest in or purchase enterprises in nations like Australia and India where there is an Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA), free trade agreement, or Suitable Knowledge Cooperation Agreement based on what they believe to be in their best interests at the time. The government should not be handling these issues.

When questioned about the alleged Khalistan election in Australia, the high commissioner stated that Australia has unshakeable respect for Indian independence.
