EPOS Adapt 560 Review: An all-rounder wireless headphones, perfect for work from home

Denmark’s high-end and premium audio solutions company EPOS entered the Indian market in December. Demount Group’s EPOS has a hold in more than 30 countries in the world. EPOS has 115 years of experience in audio and sound technology. The company simultaneously launched five audio products in the Indian market including the Adapt 300 Series, Adapt 400 Series, Adapt 500 Series, Adapt 600 Series and Expand 30T. Of these, we have used the EPOS Adapt 560 for a few days for review. Let me tell you that the parent company of Sennheiser’s audio product EPOS is made by Demant. Let’s know … how is this wireless headphones?

EPOS Adapt 560 Review: Specification

It has four buttons, including a multifunction, a hook button, an LED, power and mute buttons, settings buttons and a Type-C port. It has a separate mic that you can slide on/off and use. For Microsoft Teams you get a separate button. A Bluetooth USB connector is also available with the headphones which you can connect to these headphones by plugging them into a laptop or desktop.

Bluetooth 5.0 is available for connectivity. It has four microphones which also support active noise cancellation. It is getting a two-year warranty. It weighs 229 grams. The price of this headphone is Rs 29,990.

EPOS Adapt 560 Review: Design

Although its weight is close to 250 grams but its design is perfect. There will be no problem in using the function button. Build quality is good and design is premium. The padding is of better quality which will not deteriorate quickly. This headphones in use is relaxing. Ear pain does not occur even when used for a long time.

The cushion is quite comfortable. The size of the headphone is also adjustable, which you can adjust according to your head. It has a special mic that you can slide and pull out and inside when not in use.

EPOS Adapt 560 Review: Performance

First of all, let us tell you that the company has launched this wireless headphone keeping in mind the needs of work from home. It has a separate mic for calling during work from home. Apart from this, it can also be used easily for a long time. For virtual meetings, it has a special purple color button for Microsoft Teams, although it would have been better if it had been for zoom, Google Meet, etc.

For control, buttons are provided instead of touch. The most important thing is that the dongle is available with it for use in laptops and computers. Apart from this, these headphones can be connected to multiple devices simultaneously.

As far as audio quality is concerned, its sound is not great but it is good. We had a great experience with this headphone in calling during the review. Be it phone call, video call or internet call, the performance of headphones is excellent in all three cases. There are clear voices on both sides. Noise cancellation is also good.

The good thing about noise cancellation is that if noise cancellation is already on, then you will realize it as soon as the headphones are connected. The bass is slightly lower but the audio quality is crystal clear. Music lovers and voice calling enthusiasts will love it. EPOS Adapt 560 did not disappoint us in terms of performance

EPOS Adapt 560 Review: Battery Life

The company has claimed a backup of up to 46 hours (ANC off) on its battery, while ANC claims a 24-hour backup on battery life when turned on. During the review, we used it for four days after one time full charging. Everyday we were using it for about 5 hours. It takes about 4 hours to charge this full.

The company should support fast charging in this. Overall, the EPOS Adapt 560 has not disappointed us in terms of battery either. In the headphones of any other company in this range, you will not get so many features, separate mic for calling and such a long battery.
