NID Foundation along with Chandigarh University broke the Guinness World Record for the “largest human image of a waving national flag” in Chandigarh. This was made on Saturday, 13 August, which is two days before the celebration of Independence day celebration of India, as an Independent nation.

On August 15, India will commemorate 7.5 decades of independence. On August 15, 1947, the nation was freed from British colonial rule. Folks are preparing to commemorate the day in a variety of ways, and a few have already begun.
