Through Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women are encouraged to join SHGs or self-help groups such as medicine wali didi, bank wali didi, and Anganwadi didi. Through the scheme, women are offered the tools to become financially self-reliant.
The motive behind rolling out Lakhpati didi Yojana was to make the women of Rajasthan capable and sustainable enough to earn at least Rs 1 lakh per annum per household.

The primary aim of Lakhpati Didi Yojana is to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged women. A sum of Rs 5 lakh is offered to the women as a loan without interest.

1. If you are not a part of any self-help group, then join a local SHG.
2. After joining, we went to the nearest anganwadi center. Ask them about the scheme and to offer you proper guidance to fill in the application form.
3. Get the application form from the anganwadi center and fill in the application form with correct and accurate information.
4. Attach the documents required with the application form.
5. Submit the document through the Anganwadi center or directly at the designated office.
6. Your documents will go through a verification process after submission.
7. If your application gets approved, you will receive confirmation of its approval through the registered email ID, SMS or letter.
8. When selected, you may be asked to participate in various training programs, including financial literacy workshops.
9. After enrolling into the scheme successfully, you can avail the benefits provided by the government under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana.
