The Poco M3 5G does not have an ultra-wide camera and I was hoping to see one on the more expensive Poco M3 Pro 5G. Sadly, this isn’t the case. Overall, I think Poco could have used better sensors for this ‘Pro’ model, or at least have given buyers an ultra-wide camera to set this phone apart from its sibling.

The Poco M3 Pro 5G is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB for Rs. 13,999. The second variant has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is available for Rs. 15,999. The Poco M3 Pro 5G is based on the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, however the latter offers much better features.

The Poco M3 Pro 5G have the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is similar to the Dimensity 800U except and lower clocked CPU cores. It has a slower GPU and RAM and storage is for LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 respectively. The M3 Pro 5G has dual-band Wi-Fi ac, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.1, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot.
The phone runs on MIUI 12.0.2 based on Android 11 software. The phone has many spammy apps like the GetApps, Music, Mi Credit, etc. User needs to uninstall these apps if not needed.
Performance and Battery life
The Poco M3 Pro 5G was snappy and fuss-free. The 6GB RAM handled multitasking and handles 90Hz screen with smooth and fluid scrolling in apps as well as the interface. The Dimensity 700 SoC the M3 Pro 5G scoring 3,27,355 points in AnTuTu, and 557 and 1,753 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively. The phone has fast charging 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W.
