Punjab medical education department to conduct exams to recruit over 4,000 health staff – education
Punjab’s Department of Medical Education and Analysis on Sunday mentioned examinations will likely be held to recruit greater than 4,000 health staff, together with docs and nurses.

The Punjab authorities has sanctioned greater than 4,000 posts of docs and paramedical staff, together with technicians, staff nurses, pharmacists, ophthalmic officers, medical/psychiatric social staff, operation theatre assistants, and so forth. “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the duty of recruiting medical and paramedical staff has been given to Baba Farid College of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The college will conduct the examinations for recruitment to these posts,” the official mentioned.
He mentioned the college had already notified the schedule of the examinations for varied programs associated to health sciences.
“The vice-chancellor of Baba Farid College of Health Sciences has been requested to conduct these exams on the earliest,” the spokesperson mentioned.
The state’s larger education department has already clarified in its letter that the directions for not conducting examinations due to COVID is just not relevant to the medical education department.
