A big looting report has come from Bihar’s Chapra district. Unarmed criminals in Bihar looted the Gwalior-Barauni Express between Dighwara and Sonpur station. During this, the miscreants shot a passenger resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh for protesting against the looting. The criminals also assaulted several passengers aboard the S-5 Bougie during the robbery.

The robbery occurred in the Gwalior-Barauni Express between Dighwara and Sonpur station on the Chhapra rail section late Wednesday night in Bihar. The miscreants looted mobiles, cash and jewelry from more than 12 passengers. A passenger named 22-year-old Shivam Yadav, a resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, protested the robbery when miscreants shot him. Shivam is badly injured. He was admitted to the Chhapra Sadar Hospital by injured Railway Station Chairman Dharmendra Kumar in an injured condition. However, now their condition is said to be stable.

As per the information received, Shivam was traveling in coach number S-5 of Gwalior Express. Meanwhile, about a dozen armed dacoits started robbery in the train between Sonpur Junction and Dighwara railway station. During this protest, armed criminals shot Shivam. The bullet hit Shivam’s right thigh and passed through. After executing the incident, the culprits escaped by chain pulling.

Police crackdown continues

Railway SP Muzaffarpur Ashok Kumar Singh has taken this incident very seriously. They have formed a SIT team to immediately arrest the criminals and the police team is raiding the arrest of the criminals. Meanwhile, Railway SP Ashok Kumar Singh said that all the culprits involved in this incident have been identified. Police will soon disclose this. Apart from Siwan, the Railway Police team is continuously raiding in Sonpur, Chapra and adjoining areas.
