Srikanth Venkatachari Appointed As New CFO of Reliance Industries, Effective from June 1

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), which is headed by Mukesh Ambani, has chosen Srikanth Venkatachari to serve as its next chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 1. Alok Agarwal, the CFO since 2005, will be replaced by Venkatachari. Agarwal has been promoted to senior advisor to Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani. With the start of his new position on June 1, Venkatachari will succeed Alok Agarwal, who has served as CFO since 2005.

Alok Agarwal, the present chief financial officer, has been offered a new position. After 30 years of exemplary service, Agarwal will begin a new position as Senior Adviser to the Managing Director and Chairman of the Company, working with him on a variety of strategic topics, as stated in the release.

The announcement stated that Shri Alok Agarwal is a skilled financial expert. In 2005, the company named him as its chief financial officer. The Board thanked Shri Alok Agarwal for his commitment to the Company’s transformational journey.
