Former Union Minister Chidambaram has said that the central government has failed miserably in the vaccination campaign of the countrymen.
They have said, “Does anyone wonder if the rate of infection is increasing every day?” At this rate, the race between virus and vaccination, the virus will win. “
Chidambaram suggested that the government should allow walk-in vaccination on demand and get rid of bureaucratic hurdles including pre-registration.
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 36467744 people have been vaccinated in India by 7 pm on March 17.
