1. Hobbit House

2. Maryhill Museum and Stonehenge

If you don’t have the luxury to experience old England then you can visit Washington’s Stonehenge, quite an impressive replica. The famous Sam Hill made the iconic Stonehenge as a memorial to all the dead humans during the war. It is regarded as the oldest World War I memorial in the U.S.A. 

3. Afterglow Vista

Afterglow Vista is a resting place of the infamous John S. McMillin’s family. He was the mineral tycoon who possessed the Washington lime works during that time. He was the one behind the famous mausoleum featuring a huge limestone table, stone chairs and an open-air rotunda. The place represents every member of his family also containing their ashes as well.

5. Edith Macefield’s House

You might be living under a rock if you don’t know Edith Macefield. She was a folk hero who declined $1 million dollar in exchange for her 100-year-old farmhouse in Ballard, Seattle. Due to commercialization, builders started developing the area and around her house and wanted her house too but she refused. IN 2008, she passed away leaving the home to Barry Martin, the senior superintendent of construction and also her close friend. The famous movie ‘Up’ is based on her story. 

6. Hat ‘n’ Boots

The famous attraction is based on the Oxbow Road showcasing 22 ft high boots and a 44 ft wide cowboy hat. Basically, the place was made to host offices, gas stations and washrooms. Because of its unique theme, it attracts hundreds of tourists every year. Famous singer Elvis Presley once stopped at the place during his Seattle World Fair in 1962.

7. The Teapot Dome

The iconic teapot dome was made in 1922 in Zillah. Later, the pump, teapot, and outhouse relocated to their current location. A funky place to hang out with family and friends.
