The World Breastfeeding Week was established by WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action). Their aim was to encourage breastfeeding and also improve the health of babies around the world. As we have already told you, the week is an initiative by WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action), The World Breastfeeding Week was first celebrated in 1992. The week is celebrated by more than 120 countries. Awareness programs run for 7 days.
