World Hepatitis Day on the birth anniversary of great American Physician, and Geneticist Baruch Samuel Blumberg. He was born on the same day in 1925. He was the first to detect the Hepatitis B virus strain and developing its Vaccine. Baruch Samuel Blumberg won the Nobel Prize in 1976 in Physiology or Medicine for his role in detecting and developing vaccines for Hepatitis B virus strain.
