According to KLFY-TV, on the evening of January 2, 2024, her phone stopped working. Prior to this, the 19-year-old’s phone used Wi-Fi near her alleged partner, Holland Jr.’s phone.

By January 3, 2024, Turner had completely disappeared. Sherry, her twin sister, stated on a GoFundMe page, “as the days went by, we knew something was wrong.”Nearly three weeks later, on January 24, a floating body was discovered in the Ouachita River.

Sherry provided Turner’s remains, from which DNA samples were tested. Based on forensic data and surveillance, Holland Jr. was identified as a suspect.

On April 23, the West Monroe Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence.

While searching Holland Jr.’s house, police found evidence of a violent crime. He later confessed to murdering the 19-year-old inside his house.

He added that he dismembered the deceased’s body inside his house, then disposed of it in a tributary of the Ouachita River.

Holland Jr. is currently in police custody and has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Since 2017, Caroline Fohlin has been serving Emory University at the College of Arts and Sciences.

According to CNN, she along with other protestors were arrested by Emory Police.

“Several dozen protesters trespassed onto Emory University’s campus early Thursday morning and set up tents on the Quad. These individuals are not members of our community. They are activists attempting to disrupt our university as our students finish classes and prepare for finals.”

It added, “Emory does not tolerate vandalism or other criminal activity on campus.”
