This is how trouble started
The family alleges that Dussehra was in dispute with other community members over the program at Ram Mandir Park, due to which the youth has been killed. On the complaint of the young man’s younger brother, the police have registered a case of murder and arrested four accused. The deceased has been identified as Rinku Sharma (25). Rinku lived in Mangolpuri, a block with his father Ajay Sharma, mother Radha, younger brother Manu Sharma and Ashu Sharma. He used to work in a private hospital. Manu Sharma said that Nasruddin, Islam, Zahid and Mehtab live at some distance from his house.
Manu alleges that a few days ago, the accused got into an altercation with his family members over the program at Ram Temple Park on Dussehra. Since then, all the accused used to come in the street, threatening to kill them. At around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night, the four accused along with some others reached Rinku’s house and started abusing him, citing the controversy of Dussehra day. When Rinku and Manu oppose him, Zahid attacks Manu and Rinku with lathi sticks and Mehtab attacks Rinku with a sharp knife. The knife got stuck in Rinku’s backbone. After that all the accused escaped. Sanu Gandhi with Manu and family reached Rinku hospital. Where Rinku died on Thursday morning during treatment. Late night the police arrested all the four named Aropians.
One accused was beaten up in the evening
Family members said that a young man living in the area had given his birthday party at M2K Mall in Rohini on Wednesday evening. A young man from a block there had a dispute with the accused. The young man slapped an accused. The young man told Rinku about this. At that time Rinku had somehow pacified the matter. But at night all the accused reached Rinku’s house.
