Corona infection picks up in UP, 2600 cases in last 24 hours

In Uttar Pradesh, cases of corona virus infection have increased again. More than 1000 cases were coming in the state for the last few days. Just on March 30, 918 new Corona cases were reported. But on April 1, a record 2600 new cases were registered in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 1,24,135 samples were examined in the state on 31 March.

State’s Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that there are 11,918 active cases of corona in UP. Of these 6,722 people are in home isolation. 287 patients are undergoing treatment in private hospitals.

Prasad said that so far, 5,99,045 people have been discharged from Corona infection.

Vaccination appeal

Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that the corona vaccine is being given to 5,000 people above the age of 45 in the state.

“There is an appeal to all the people that who are above the age of 45 years, they should go to the Kovid Center and get the vaccine. Those who want to get vaccinated can register online on the Kovin portal. Those who cannot register online, take with them an Aadhaar card or any identity card, and registration will be done at the vaccination center itself and the vaccine will be given. ”

Prasad said that if a vaccine is taken in a private hospital, then a dose of 250 rupees will have to be paid.

Stir in Lucknow fast

In view of the increasing corona cases, the Medical Education Department has called a meeting. Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna has called a meeting at 7 pm through video conferencing of all medical colleges and medical university principals and VCs.

The Fun Mall of Lucknow has been sealed. In a major action, the district administration has closed the ‘Fun Republic Mall’ of the city for violating the guidelines of Kovid-19.

Lucknow Commissionerate Police has also become strict regarding the Kovid-19 guideline. In the joint action of ACM V and Aliganj police, Globe Café and Guests Laddu were seized in Aliganj. Both were violating the Kovid-19 guidelines.
