Let us tell you, The Election Commission of India has banned all exit polls from being shared between February 10 and March 7. This includes both print media organizations as well electronic ones, so no one can publish predictions for election results during this time period!

In a statement, UP’s Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Kumar Shukla said that publishing exit polls are illegal until 6.30 pm on March 7. If someone publishes an exit poll before that time, they could be sentenced to two years in jail or fined or both.”

The ECI has said that the exit polls will be released at 6:30 PM on March 7, after the last phase of voting in Uttar Pradesh is over.
