Bengali Actor Abhishek Chatterjee No More, Passes Away Of Heart Attack

Veteran Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee is no more. The 58-year-old breathed his last on Thursday due to a heart attack. Abhishek was one of the most popular actors in the Bengali film and TV industry. He has worked in many successful movies and TV shows. His fans are in shock after hearing the news of his death.

After hearing the news of Abhishek Chatterjee’s sudden demise, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the whole film industry. According to media reports, he was busy shooting on Wednesday. His health started deteriorating on the shooting itself. After which he returned home.

He was being treated at home and his health got worse in the middle of the night. He then passed away at around 1:40 PM.

West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee has expressed grief on his death.

Abhishek Chatterjee had worked in many Bengali films. These include great movies like “Pathbhola”, “Ora Charjon”, “Amar Prem”, “Madhur Milan”, and “Bariwali”. He is also known for the serial ‘Khorkuto’ on Bengali TV. Along with this, Abhishek has also worked in shows like ‘Mohar’, and ‘Phagun Bou’.

He made his big-screen debut alongside veterans such as Sandhya Roy, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Tapas Paul with the Bengali film “Pathbhola” directed by Tarun Majumdar.

Many actors are sad to hear about Abhishek Chatterjee’s death. Laboni Sarkar, Gourab Roy Chowdhury, Trina Saha, and many others have expressed their sadness.
