As per the Hindu calendar, annually the Ekadashi tithi of Karthik month is marked as Rama Ekadashi, which will be observed on 21 October this year. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshipped with full rituals and faith. According to beliefs, keeping Rama Ekadashi’s fast helps one get rid of various sins including Brahma Hatya. It is also believed that those who keep this fast attain a place in the Vishnu Loka after death.
As per panchang, this year the Ekadashi tithi of Karthik month will start at 04:04 PM on 20 October and will last at 05:22 PM on 21 October. As we all know, tithi’s starting is considered as per sunrise, that’s why this year Rama Ekadashi will be celebrated on 21 October 2022.
Talking about the shubh puja muhurat, according to drikpanchang, Shukla Kaal will be beginning from the very start of the day at 05:48 AM. The most auspicious time to do worship on Rama Ekadashi will be starting at 07:50 AM, which will end at 09:15 AM.
On the day of the Rama Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning, bathe and establish Lord Vishnnu’s idol at worship place. After that, do worship with full rituals. Offer Panchamrit to Srihari,tthen flowers, incense, lamp and Tulsi Dal. After this recite Vishnu Sahasranama. Also, get blessings by feeding Brahmins.
