3. Tiger Zinda Hai – ₹565 Cr
This 2017-released action-thriller is a sequel to 2012’s hit “Ek Tha Tiger”. It shows a high-end spy who came out of hiding just to save the hostages held in Iraq by the militant terrorist organization. Just like its first installment, this one also became a major hit. Made on the budget of ₹150 crores, the movie grossed ₹565 crores and proved to be a major hit of the year.
4. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – ₹432 Cr
The film was the fourth collaboration between Barjatya and Khan. They both have worked together for “Hum Saath Saath Hain” in 1999, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” in 1994, and “Maine Pyar Kiya” in 1989. The movie opened with extremely positive reviews, getting praise for its bgm, screenplay, and Khan’s performance.
