In the United States, National Bird Day is observed on the 5th of January. Every year America celebrates the day with its first celebration taking place in 2002. Many don’t know that there are around 9800 species around the world. National Bird Day allows people to learn more about any species of bird they like. The day allows going for- Birdwatching. It has been found that a large number of Americans love to go birdwatching then watching other games and events.

Schools and other institutions conducted fun activities for small kids where they draw pictures of their favourite birds, and learn more about them.
