Purusha Suktam is an ancient Rig Vedic hymn where the universe god Prusha is praised. He is the master of everything from conscious to unconscious. Significance Of Purusha Suktam:
Purusha Suktam is part of Pancha Suktam (5 Suktams) i.e Vishnu Suktam, Purusha Suktam, Nila Suktam, Bhu Suktam, and Sri Suktam. It is part of the oldest Rig Veda and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the hymn, he is described as the greatest Purusha. In the hymn, the mantras were written in a meter i.e 15 in the anustubh meter, and the final one in the tristubh meter.
