Modi wants to see India on top, but 'Ghamandiya' Gathbandhan leaders only want to see their sons as PM, CM: Amit Shah (Ld)

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing the party of promoting nepotism in the country. Addressing a Prabudhh Sammelan in Jaipur, Shah praised PM Modi’s efforts to make India the top nation by 2047. Shah also criticized the opposition’s ‘Ghatbandhan’ alliance, stating its leaders aspire to see their sons and nephews as PMs and CMs, promoting nepotism. He asserted that BJP’s aim is for the benefit of India, while the opposition aims to benefit their families.

Shah highlighted PM Modi’s accomplishments such as the abrogation of Article 370 and surgical strikes after the Pulwama attack, elevating India’s position globally. He also mentioned the four threats to democracy – nepotism, appeasement, corruption and casteism, and the government’s efforts to address them. Shah also slammed the Congress for objecting to the government’s initiatives like renaming Raj Path, building a new Parliament, and reviving cultural and heritage sites.

Shah urged the party workers in Rajasthan to ensure BJP’s victory in all 25 Lok Sabha seats and directed the in-charge ministers to form booth level committees. He emphasized the need for visible progress on the ground since the BJP government took office in the state. Later in the day, Shah reiterated the party’s goal of winning more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha polls during his visit to Udaipur.

The scathing attack by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the Congress, accusing the party of promoting nepotism and criticizing the opposition’s Ghatbandhan alliance, reflects the intensifying political rhetoric as the Lok Sabha polls approach. Shah’s praise for PM Modi’s accomplishments and the government’s initiatives, along with his directives to the party workers in Rajasthan, indicate the BJP’s ambitious agenda and confidence heading into the elections.
