Phenomenal series win by our young team: Virat Kohli hails Team India’s performance

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS) Former captain Virat Kohli praised the young Indian batters after India’s five-wicket win over England in the fourth Test in Ranchi. Kohli commended the team’s grit, determination, and resilience, while former cricketer Wasim Jaffer also lauded the young talents for their excellent performance under pressure.

Cricketer-turned-commentator Dinesh Karthik expressed his delight at India’s series win, applauding the players from seniors to juniors for their exceptional performances. Former player Irfan Pathan highlighted Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill for their calm innings, with Gill playing a crucial role in India’s victory.

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan acknowledged India’s impressive test victory despite missing five world-class players and facing a deficit in the first innings. He praised India for winning the big moments, while also recognizing Shubman Gill’s class in the match.

In a series-defining Test, Gill and Jurel showed composure and nerve as they guided India to a series victory at the JSCA International Stadium. The duo overcame pressure and nerves to steer India to a tricky chase of 192, securing a win over England in the process.
