Honda Elevate is now accessible at CSD outlets. Read on for more information.

Honda has announced that the Elevate SUV will now be available through Canteen Store Departments (CSD) for the Indian Armed Forces. The Elevate shares its underpinnings with the 5th Gen City and is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with two transmission options.

The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine in the Honda Elevate produces 119 bhp of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission with 7 steps. The manual variant offers a fuel efficiency of 15.31 kmpl while the automatic variant delivers 16.92 kmpl.

Priced between ₹11.58 lakh and ₹16.20 lakh ex-showroom, the Honda Elevate is one of the most affordable mid-size SUVs in the Indian market. It comes in four variants – SV, V, VX, and ZX, with automatic transmission available in all but the SV variant. The manufacturer plans to launch an all-electric version of the Elevate in the next two years.

Competing against popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the Honda Elevate offers features such as LED projector headlamps, multi-function steering wheel, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, PM2.5 air filter, and front armrest as standard. The top-end variant also includes Honda Sensing Technology with ADAS features like Collision Mitigation Braking System and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Overall, the Honda Elevate aims to provide a reliable and feature-packed option for military personnel through Canteen Store Departments, further expanding Honda’s presence in the Indian market.
