Telangana announces establishment of Farmers Commission and Education Commission

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the formation of Farmers and Education Commissions in the state. These commissions will focus on welfare policies for farmers and strengthening the education system. An all-party meeting will be held to discuss rights and protection for tenant farmers.

Revanth Reddy, during an interaction with social organisations and civil society representatives, expressed the need for a new law to protect tenant farmers’ rights. The government aims to extend Rythu Bharosa benefits to the needy and implement the crop insurance scheme fully.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of crop rotation schemes and urged farmers to adopt new cultivation methods. He assured the public of the government’s commitment to implementing welfare programs and providing job opportunities through a transparent recruitment process by the Telangana State Public Service Commission.

Since assuming power, the government has opened Dharna Chowk and Praja Bhavan to address people’s grievances promptly. Revanth Reddy highlighted the government’s dedication to supporting farmers and addressing education system reforms for the overall development of the state.
