Srinivas Reddy from Mahabubnagar re-elected in BRS fields

Telangana’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has declared Manne Srinivas Reddy as its pick for Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections. The announcement was made by BRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao after a meeting with party leaders from Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool. KCR hinted at a possible Lok Sabha run, but did not confirm it.

With this announcement, BRS has now named candidates for five Lok Sabha constituencies. In the last election, Srinivas Reddy triumphed over BJP’s D. K. Aruna by a significant margin, with Congress’ Vamshi Chand Reddy finishing third. However, Congress has decided to field Vamshi Chand Reddy again, while BJP is yet to reveal its candidate for the Mahabubnagar seat.

The decision to ally with state BSP president R. S. Praveen Kumar was also disclosed by KCR during the media briefing. The upcoming elections in Telangana are heating up as parties finalize their candidates and strategies. Stay tuned for more updates on the political landscape in the region.
