Lucknow, March 13 (IANS) – The Uttar Pradesh government has launched ‘Mission Bharosa’ to ensure the safety of school children. This initiative aims to implement measures including police verification of drivers and attendants to ensure secure transportation for students. Vehicles transporting children must be registered and meet safety standards verified by the Regional Transport Office (RTO).

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted, “Bharosa provides a framework for coordination among stakeholders like RTO, police, schools, and transport owners, using advanced technology to ensure safe transportation for children.” Lucknow Municipal Commissioner Inderjeet Singh emphasized the commitment to children’s safety, stating that ‘Mission Bharosa’ prioritizes safe school transportation.

The project includes training for drivers and attendants on child safety protocols, health check-ups, and awareness programs. Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Roshan Jacob encouraged feedback on the Bharosa portal and app to address concerns promptly. The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to making school transport safe for children.

In a world where every journey counts, especially for young minds heading towards education, ‘Mission Bharosa’ ensures the well-being of school children. The initiative, supported by advanced technology and stakeholder coordination, aims to provide a safe and secure transport system for students.
